About the role:
We are currently seeking a Mechanical/Mechatronic Engineer who is ready to join Seeley’s Imagineering team – an innovative research branch of the company that is responsible for the development of new ‘over-the-horizon’ products, manufacturing systems, and technology. You will use your skills to design new HVAC systems comprising technologies such as indirect/direct evaporative cooling, heat pumps, or filtration systems for residential, commercial, and industrial applications.

This is a full-time position.

We'll expect you to have:

• A bachelor’s degree/advanced diploma in Mechanical or Mechatronic Engineering from a nationally accredited program or equivalent would be desirable but not essential.
• Up to 3 years of professional engineering experience or any industry experience relating to a production or HVAC field.
• Experience in common engineering tools such as CAD modelling and analysis.
• Basic electrical/electronic knowledge.
• Ability to use basic hand and power tools.
• A desire to champion and drive challenging new and improvement-based projects relating to product, process, and factory.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and initiative.
• A positive work attitude and standards that don’t drop.
• A high degree of personal and professional integrity.

It's great, but not required, if you have:

• Understanding of thermodynamics and psychometric.
• Experience with HVAC equipment and principles.
• Experience with or exposure to PLCs.
