About the Role:

In this role you will be responsible to autonomously deliver efficient, quality, part to part die setting as required by the daily production schedule. We expect this role to continuously identify improvement processes and methods to improve change over and start up times. In return we will develop your skills to work effectively and accurately in a team environment.

We'll expect you to have:

The successful candidate should have a competent work record in the moulding industry and have experience as a Die Setter meeting the industry standards. You should have a recognised Polytech, or TAFE training certificate and be competent at operating 6 axis robot. A proven experience on machinery within the range of 75 ton up to 2400 tonne capacity as well as a Forklift License are also a requirement for this role.

The successful candidate will:

• Conduct efficient die changes as per production schedule for each shift.
• Production start-up as per setup document and for “first off” to meet minimum library standards.
• Responsible for all logging in and out of ID, down time codes & maintenance activity.
• Best practice methodology for die change preparation.
• Complete scheduled maintenance tasks on machinery.
• Update and data entry on Mattec Production monitoring system.
• To promote a safe work environment.
• Identify critical processes and reporting.
• Ability to work shifts.
